Overview

Sun being the closest star to us, it is a direct opportunity to study stellar processes. Just like any other celestial object, the sun is like a complex science experiment in space whose scale cannot be replicated on earth. But studying it would help us in the fields of astrophysics and plasma physics. The aim of the talk is to give a brief overview of the different sub fields of Solar physics like Solar Flares, Prominences and CMEs, Solar Surface, Sun Spots and their Migration, Solar Cycle, Solar Neutrino, Solar Telescopes & Aditya L1.
